FRIENDS

My friends Cael , Ngametua and David are really cool. I first meet David in room 10 which is the very first day I started Pt England School , I really liked David because he always knew what to talk about and he knew when to make you laugh whether you were sad or happy. I meet Cael just last year. I became her friend because she was just like David but she was a girl and I meet Ngametua last year.

Truck show

Owens participated in the annual truck show down in Taupo. My Dad works for Owens so he got to participate in this event. There were all kinds of trucks from around New Zealand ,Scania’s, Mack’s , Super Liners and heaps more I just can’t remember.

It was time for the Prize Giving. Owens got two Trophies , one for best fleet and the other for best Scania. The truck that got best Scania was my dads friend Loyld because everyone liked the mural that was on the roof it was Bruce Lee I mean who doesn’t like Bruce Lee.

I had a really good time in Taupo and thank you God for the weather that we had it was really really sunny((:

Rugby

I like to play Rugby.

Last term I was selected to play for Pt England in the Rugby 7’s tournament. We played 5 games and we lost two but we still made it into the finals. We vs Royal Oak intermediate. We were hoping to dominate the competition but luck wasn’t on our side. Lifting our heads up high we went home a happy team even though we didn’t come back with the victory of beating Royal Oak but we still had fun.

Sport On Friday

On Friday afternoon Room 18 and Room 16 , had a really good time down at Tamaki College. The senior student at Tamaki College  were assigned to a group of student , my team had 3 girls but sadly I forgot their names , I’ll ask them next time we go to Tamaki College. We had a go at this game were you had to get across the field without touching the ground and the only thing you could  use were 3 tyres and a tackling bag , and if one of your players touched the ground , back to the start . After that we were challenged by another group at the same game , WE WON !

Camp Highlight Camp Day 1

The best thing that I enjoyed was Kayaking with Mr Burt. First Mr Burt showed us how it was done , as soon as we carefully hoped in to the Kayak I was already given instructions , Paddle this way paddle that way , Cael said to me . After that we headed back to he camp site to put up our tents , there I finish  “ NO “ put up another one Mrs Squires said to us. Man I said to Mrs Squires Mrs I’m feeling sluggish “well you shouldn’t be” she said to me , I felt like I wanted to sleep.

Xtramaths

Xtramath is a Website where kids like me can learn how to be good at maths. This website makes you get better at addition subtraction divided by and anything else maths contains. You can only move on to subtraction unless you know all your addition. Once you finish subtraction you will be able to move on to times tables. I really enjoy working on Xtramath because it can be really useful with other stuff.

Auckland Hip Hop Dancers win the Championship(:

When I searching through the 3 News website , one particular article just caught my eye called NZ hip-hop heroes return to royal welcome. I thought it was really interesting and wanted to write about it.

NZ hip hop dancers the Royal Family , who dominated the world championships in Las Vegas have returned to our country , bringing back some medals with them. The Auckland crew proudly showed of there medals at the airport. This Dance crew claimed 3 of the 4 medals at the world championship. They battled 34 other countries and came out the top Dance crew.
